The registration for Projek Perumahan Rakyat 1Malaysia (PR1MA) as announced by PR1MA Berhad can be made online at www.pr1ma.my. No other agent, website are authorize to do the registration, collecting money etc for the purpose of PR1MA house.

At pr1ma.My you can easily register your interest for PR1MA homes online. The PR1MA online registration comes with simple yet step-by-step process on how to submit your PR1MA application.

However, please take note that since there are heavy traffic in the website recently, you might be facing a slow loading. If that happen, don't panic but try again later.

Eligibility

Before you apply PR1MA homes, please check the eligibility criteria :


Applicant must be a Malaysian citizen.
Applicant must be at least 21 years old at the time of the application.
Open to Individuals or Families (husband and wife) with an average monthly household income of between RM2,500 – RM7,500
Those who currently own no more than one property.
Additional guidelines set-forth by states
Not a Bankrupt

Note:

  • PR1MA homes will be allocated through an open balloting process.
  •  Selection of house units by the successful balloted owner will be based on  the balloting sequence.
  • A 10-year moratorium will be imposed, during which the property cannot be sold or transferred to another party without prior approval from PR1MA.
  • PR1MA homes must be owner occupied.

PR1MA Online Registration Since the launching of the 1Malaysia People’s Housing Programme (PR1MA) Online Registration, more than 50,000 people has registered for the PR1MA house.

Datuk Abdul Mutalib has also confirmed that Malaysians who buy PR1MA house may be forced to vacate the homes if they do not abide by regulations such as illegally renting out the house to third parties. He added, “These houses are meant to be owner-occupied unless they have a good reason of leaving the house.

If PR1MA receive reports of abuse, PR1MA can buy the house back from the owner and ask them to vacate the house after several notices and warnings are given.

PR1MA would exercise this power when house owners are found to have submitted false or misleading statements in their application, cease to be Malaysian citizens or for other reasons as provided in the Act.

The compensation to be paid by PR1MA for any property compulsorily acquired will also be determined by it.

PR1MA Projects at Nusantara Prima, Johor Good news for eligible Malaysia in Johor as 8,000 affordable homes will be built here under the 1Malaysia People's Housing Scheme (PR1MA) to cater to the high demand from the middle-income group in Johor area. As a start, PR1MA house will be developed in Nusantara Prima.
A total of 201 units of affordable homes are to be built by Denia Development Sdn Bhd as part of its 1,300 units of housing in Nusantara Prima, a joint-venture project with UEM Land Holdings Bhd, which is the landowner.
Nusantara Prima is an exclusive development spanning across 266.58 acres in the burgeoning Bandar Nusajaya, which is poised to be a key commercial, entertainment and residential hub for the southern region of Malaysia

Type of PR1MA house at Nusantara Prima

2 types of units are available for applications now.
  1. Type 2A consists of 94 units of 2 storey terrace house (1384 sqft)
  2. Type 2C consists of 107 units of 2 storey terrace house (1392 sqft).

Price of PR1MA House

Both types of houses are 18' x 65' and prices starts from RM199,000 respectively. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
  1. Open to Malaysian citizens aged 21 and above
  2. Residing or working within the borders of the Johor Bharu City Council, Johor Bharu Tengah Municipal Council, Kulai Municipal Council, Pasir Gudang Municipal Council and Pontian Municipal Council.
  3. Monthly gross household income (husband and wife combined/ single) between RM2,500 and RM7,500
  4. Applicant and/or spouse has no property other than a unit of Low Cost Housing /Low Medium-Cost Housing
  5. The homes must be owner-occupied
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
  1. The homes must be owner-occupied
  2. A 10-year moratorium will be imposed, during which the property cannot be sold or transferred to another party

55,000 sign up for PR1MA online

55,000 sign up for PR1MA online MORE than 55,000 people have registered online for the 1Malaysia People Housing Scheme (PR1MA), PR1MA chief executive officer Datuk Abdul Mutalib Alias said yesterday. The number of registrations reflects the needs which had been identified in the company's market survey, he said. "As expected, more than 53 per cent of registrants were from the key city centres.

"The number of registrations from Penang was also very high given that the prime minister had launched it there and allowed Penang residents the opportunity to register first."

He added that the number of registered users was expected to increase after PR1MA's launch campaign early next year. He also assured users that the balloting would be fair and transparent. "The balloting will be done manually and will be audited by external auditors," he said.

So far, only applications for the Nusantara PR1MA development have been launched using the online registration system on Dec 13 and the closing date will be announced later.
Other developments in the works include PR1MA Penang, Seremban Utara, Seremban 2, Rasah and Senawang, some of which will be open for applications in the first half of next year and will be announced on the website, www.pr1ma.my NSTP

PR1MA Homes in Pulau Pinang

PR1MA Homes in Pulau Pinang The Government has identified 10 locations here for its Perumahan Rakyat 1Malaysia (PR1MA) affordable urban housing programme. PR1MA Berhad's chief executive officer Datuk Abdul Mutalib Alias said the residential units would be built in Bukit Gelugor next year.

He said the “secure, 30-storey lifestyle condominiums” would be built on three plots of land measuring a total of 8ha as part of a mixed development project. He said that PR1MA would adhere strictly to the local council's density and plot ratio. Due to land scarcity, the new planning features will include sky gardens. “Some 20% of the leasehold project will comprise commercial units. “This is a very nice area it will be the Bangsar of Penang.

“The surrounding projects are priced between RM520 and RM600 per sq ft PR1MA homes will definitely cost much less but let's wait for Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak to announce the price and details,” he said here yesterday.

Nine other project sites have been identified on the island and mainland pending a final decision from the Government. “We are only looking at Federal Government-owned land here as well as plots owned by Perda and JKP Sdn Bhd. “Some projects on the mainland may even be landed property,” he said. He said PR1MA was unique because it is both a quasi-regulator and a developer.

PR1MA information and communications technology vice-president Noorul Amilin Mohd Daud said some 2.5 million Malaysians are expected to participate in the online registration for the 80,000 PR1MA homes to be built in 50 cities and towns nationwide once launched by Najib here today.
